Dr. Neal deBuhr, DC

Dr. Neal is the founding doctor of Thrive Chiropractic. He was born and raised locally in Cedar Falls, where he learned to make hard work, discipline, integrity, and purpose the backbone of his educational and professional career. With a big heart and a passion for serving and giving back to his community, Dr. Neal feels incredibly blessed to share the gift of chiropractic.

Dr. Neal graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic (Davenport) in 2019, where he worked as a sport and injury rehabilitation clinical intern under Dr. David Jeuhring. He graduated from the University of Iowa in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Human Physiology/Pre-Medicine.  He’s also trained underneath Dr. Winchester, a former medical director for the St. Louis Cardinals, as well as Dr. Greg Rose with Titleist Performance Institute with the PGA.

In clinical practice, Dr. deBuhr brings thousands of hours of continuing education courses across a plethora of techniques to each and every case. This allows him to provide an all-encompassing and world-class clinical experience to each and every patient. His ultimate goal is to ensure and empower every single patient with the knowledge, skill, and capacity to be better than before and Thrive.

At the end of the day, our health and quality of life is all we have. Investing in ourselves is an investment Dr. Neal stands behind, as he practices what he preaches by staying active, playing and watching sports, and eating clean. Outside the office, Dr. Neal enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He is active in his church, loves to laugh and crack* jokes, and enjoys building relationships with people he feels blessed to have met.
